Passkeys - sign in with fingerprint, face or PIN
Add a passkey to sign in with your device's fingerprint, face or PIN (or a security key) instead of typing your password. Your biometric never leaves your device, and your password sign-in always keeps working as a fallback.
Where to find it: Top bar - Passkeys (when signed in).
Add a passkey
- Open Passkeys, name the device, and follow your device's prompt. You can add several - a phone, a laptop, a security key.
- If your device can't create a passkey, the page tells you and you simply keep using your password.
Sign in with a passkey
- On the sign-in page, enter your email and choose Sign in with a passkey, then approve on your device. On a computer with no biometric, you can approve using your phone.
- Lost your device? Sign in with your password (and one-time code if enabled) as usual, then add a passkey on your new device.
